Birds and the City

Born from my time living and spending time in Boston and New York City, finding migratory birds inhabiting urban edges and downtown parks became a passion in 2022. A few years later, here are some of my favorite images of birds around the built environment.

I view these birds and photos as both highlighting the rapid proliferation of human-altered landscapes across the world, and how the burden of resilience is placed on wildlife —with many rising to the challenge.
